Step into an exciting role as an Ecologist with NGH, where you'll provide expert ecological advice and support for diverse environmental projects. In this role, you'll conduct detailed ecological surveys, assessments, and fieldwork while preparing high-quality ecological reports that meet project requirements. You'll collaborate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies to ensure project developments align with environmental legislation and sustainability best practices.

What we are looking for...
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
Skills and Expertise
Strong understanding of ecological principles, biodiversity conservation, and habitat restoration, with proficiency in conducting field surveys and GIS mapping.
Experience
At least 2 years in ecological consultancy or related field, with a proven track record of delivering projects across diverse ecosystems and habitats
Legislative knowledge
Solid knowledge of ecological legislation, environmental planning frameworks and sustainable best practices
Personal attributes
Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for ecology, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects
