Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Environmental Planner, you will oversee complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. You will provide expert advice on environmental planning, legislation, and regulatory compliance while mentoring and supporting team members. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, you will foster strong relationships and contribute to business development. Your role will also involve conducting high-level reviews of environmental assessments, leading project strategies, and driving the preparation of competitive tenders and proposals.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Qualifications:
Tertiary education in a related discipline, such as environmental science, planning, or a similar field.
- Expert knowledge of environmental planning legislation and regulatory frameworks –
Particularly within the NSW planning regime.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management –
Experience working with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.
- Advanced project management skills –
Proven experience in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills –
Ability to prepare high-quality reports, assessments, and client communications.
- Business development acumen –
Ability to identify opportunities, contribute to tenders, and secure new projects.
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking –
